As the new variants emerge, The third Strain of The corona Virus appears more real to us.
Past 2 years, the corona Virus has been dominating the whole world. The statuses has shown a reduction in the affected number of corona patients, but however, mathematical expressions also predict a third wave around the month of August or September.
In 2021, The second wave of the coronavirus hit India and went to it’s peak. There was scarce storage of oxygen and hospital beds in the country, and many people passed away as they could not receive treatment. People were hoarding oxygen cylinders at home with fright and all in all, it was a very scary time for our Country.
But however, as of July 2021, the cases of the Covid-19 have declined massively, and since March, these have been the lowest cases of Covid -19 being reported. So does it mean, the Covid-19 is finally over?
As frustrating as it may sound, the answer is No. People should not think, that the virus is over yet. The reduction of the number of cases has been a result of lockdown and curfew on different parts of the country. But the corona strain isn’t over.
Doctors and mathematical formulas have pointed out that there is a possibility of third-wave very soon in the country- Around august or September. The government has expressed concern over this issue, and taking proportionate steps to block the possible incoming third wave.
Reasons for a third wave:
In the past two months, it has been noticed that people have started touring aging. Specially hill stations are overcrowded with tourists. And the most frightening part of this is people are touring with masks and maintaining covid guidelines.
As the number of cases has decreased generously, people have given up on using masks and discontinued social distancing. Even if the cases are mere, the covid-19 protocols should be maintained to stop the third wave.
Only 6-8% of Indian Adults are vaccinated. This might not be very good for the country if more people do not take the vaccine as soon as possible to be safe in the third wave.
